Mandy & Blaine are Gettin' Hitched!

I know what you're all thinking: What have I DONE to be graced with two sneak peeks in a single week?! Well, first of all, you're the best and most gorgeous clients on the PLANET. Second, I'm about to embark on a little journey called youth camp, so I'll be relatively unavailable July 12-16, and I didn't want to leave you all without something to remember me by. Plus, I'm just too dern excited about these photos to sit on them any longer!!!



Mandy and Blaine have GOT to be the two easiest-going people on the planet. We met up in June, in Texas, in the early afternoon... meaning it was about 178 degrees outside. Farenheit. They're absolutely gorgeous and precious together, and are getting married in a fabulously country ceremony this Fall (a barn! Dancing under the stars! BOOTS!!!), so we wanted to find an appropriately country and laid-back setting for their engagement session. Mandy and Blaine just went with the flow, let me try ANYTHING, had their own rockin' ideas (that resulted in some of my absolute FAVORITE images), laughed, made ME laugh, and didn't say anything about the sweltering heat OR my ridiculous frady-cat dances when lizards, spiders, buzzards, or giant rats were nearby. They really are people you can instantly feel comfortable with and look forward to being around more! If you're a fan on Facebook, you'll recognize one of the images as the one that I had to share THAT DAY.

My heart beats a little faster when I look, I mean, STARE at them. They're so romantic feeling, with the light, the silhouettes, the juxtaposition of the hard barn and soft light/gestures. Mandy & Blaine, you two are so great! Thank you so much for trusting me, sight-unseen, to be a part of this journey you two are on! I had a great time with the two of you, and WOWZERS you two are great together. I honestly enjoyed myself just hanging out with you two! Maybe we'll have to make a Taco Bell run together sometime soon... ask Blaine how the weather is going to be, haha! You two were such wonderful participants, just rolling with my manic suggestions and attention span and not ONCE complaining about the heat. Thank you so much, and I can't wait to hang out again!
