Brittany and Brandon Are Just Too Precious!

First of all, their names are Brittany and Brandon. How adorable is that? Second, they're high school sweethearts. I KNOW. Finally, Brandon is a Marine stationed in California, and this engagement session took place mere hours after they were reunited after 3 MONTHS apart! Altogether now: Awwwww.
So because of the nature of Brandon's work, Brittany has been planning their wedding not only alone, but in a whirlwind! Last Sunday we took her bridal portraits (which I'll post in a few days, once the wedding has gone off without a hitch), this past Sunday we took their engagement photos, and now today is their wedding! That's right, 3 events in 10 days!
Since these kids hadn't seen each other in a quarter of a year, they were quite happy to see each other, and, despite the ridiculous Texas heat ("it ain't the heat, it's the humidity"), pretty willing to oblige me and stand (very) close to each other. Can I tell you how cute they are? Brandon is a Nowitzki-tall Marine, and Brittany is a petite little mixture of Eva Mendez and Melissa Rycroft. They laughed and teased and drank sweet tea, and while the temperature in their (very nice) car only read 100 degrees, they sweated beautifully and gave themselves GORGEOUS images!!! I mean, Brittany spent the entire time in 3-inch heels without ONCE complaining about them or kicking them off - you KNOW this girl is after my own heart! They were so much fun to work with, so much so that at several points I just stopped and watch them interact. And so behold the hot (in more ways than one, wink wink!) engagement session of Brittany and Brandon! I'll start off with a favorite:

Brittany and Brandon (And Bella the dog!), you are so, so, OH so cute! I'm so happy for you and so excited for your wedding tonight! I know it's been a long(ish) road, and it's been beyond hard to prepare for this day while you were alone, but after tonight, you'll have each other forever! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this time in your lives, and for keeping your spirits up in the sticky heat. Brandon, I still ain't buyin' it that you like this weather. Brittany, I'm completely jealous of the California breeze you'll be living in this time next week. Congratulations again!!!
